Claire & June was founded by Claire with one simple belief: every woman deserves to feel beautiful, comfortable and completely herself in what she wears.

What began as a small boutique in Brighton became something deeply personal — especially because of the companion who was always by Claire's side.

How It All Started

For years, Claire balanced raising her children with building her little Brighton boutique.

When her children grew up and eventually left home, life suddenly became much quieter. Through it all, her Golden Retriever, June, was always there.

Morning walks through Brighton, quiet evenings at home and days spent together at the boutique turned June into far more than a pet. She became Claire's closest companion — and eventually, part of the name Claire & June.

A New Chapter

Today, June is getting older and facing health problems. Their walks are becoming shorter, and Claire knows their time together is becoming increasingly precious.

After years of June being there for her, Claire has decided it's time to return the favour.

That's why she has made the difficult decision to retire and close her Brighton boutique.
